- Dunedin Parks & Recreation is offering a ride to the Early Bird Dinner Theatre in Clearwater on July 14 for a performance of The Cemetery Club, a comedy about three friends who meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husbands’ graves. Tickets are $59 which includes transportation on a coach bus, entrance to the show, gratuity, and access to the buffet, salad bar, desserts, coffee, and tea. The bus will leave from the Hale Senior Activity Center at 10 a.m. and return at 3:45 p.m.Those interested must pre-register by June 14 as space is limited. (Dunedin Patch)
- Looking for a new way to work out? Dunedin Parks & Recreation offers an Intro to Taoist Tai Chi class on Thursdays at 9 a.m. for those 50 and older at the Hale Senior Activity Center. Classes are $4 for anyone with a recreation card and $5 for anyone without one. Practicing Tai Chi regularly can improve your balance, flexibility, and overall health.
