  1. A Wild West BBQ Luncheon is scheduled for September 21 at noon in the Hale Senior Activity Center. Take this opportunity to whip out your favorite Western wear and enjoy some great BBQ food and line dancing with friends. They were purchased with grant money from the state’s share of a 2016 settlement between Volkswagen and the U.S. Department of Justice over emissions violations. Pinellas County will be one of the first counties in Florida to begin switching to electric school buses. (Bay News 9)
