- Are homeowners safe with all the smoke damage after Marshall Fire? On a street in a Louisville neighborhood, one side burned to the ground and the other side was left mostly untouched, but are the homes safe with all the smoke damage? According to preliminary results from CU researchers, many of the home’s indoor air contains higher concentrations of hazardous chemicals. (9News)
- Elephant Rock bicycle event calling it quits. Due to rapid growth in and around Castle Rock and challenges with traffic and construction, the organizers decided it was time to cancel one of Colorado’s longest-standing “long” rides. (303)
- Alec Baldwin set to appear at Boulder International Film Festival. The actor will be the festival’s first special guest programmer, and is expected to take part in multiple Q&As. (Patch)
- Pueblo steel mill is expanding its solar power capacity. Once the plant is operating at full capacity, the facility will process around a billion pounds of steel a year turning it into millions of feet of rail for train tracks. (CPR)
- Anti-SLAPP case filed by former City Council candidate lawsuit has its day in court. The lawsuit, filed last September, argues that some activists were working against Rosenblum’s campaign for City Council. Among other things, the lawsuit alleges that the defendants worked to prevent Rosenblum from receiving campaign endorsements. (CO Daily)
