• The City of Dunedin celebrated City Hall Selfie Day with a photo in front of Dunedin City Hall. Did you know this building was home to the Dunedin Public Library from 1964 until 1976? It has been City Hall since then and currently houses the City Commission, the Communications team, and the City Manager’s team. • Meet Brooks, who has been at the SPCA Tampa Bay shelter for 87 days! According to a shelter volunteer, he loves riding in cars, exploring nature, and getting booty scratches. Contact the SPCA to meet Brooks or any other pets up for adoption! (SPCA Tampa Bay via Facebook | SPCA Tampa Bay)
• Pinellas County Government asks that everyone help nesting turtles by respecting their nests. You can do so by keeping your distance from nests, removing your belongings from the beach at night as they block the movement of turtles, keeping outdoor lights off at night if you live along the beach, fill in holes people have dug in the sand, and properly dispose of garbage and fishing line. Report sick, injured, entangled, or dead sea turtles to the FWC’s Wildlife Alert Hotline at 1-888-404-3922. (Pinellas County Government via Facebook)
