Jamshedpur, March 26: Tata Steel UISL’s Project Head RK Singh has assured the residents of Bagbera Housing Colony of providing them clean drinking water very soon. He said Tata Steel UISL would soon supply water to the local households.
A joint team of Tata Steel UISL and PHED officials paid a surprise visit to the filter at Bistupur and took stock of the filter plant, pump, starter, water tank and set-up of the rising pipe. The officials also saw the water tank at Bagbera Housing Colony Road No 1 and the motor pump and inquired about various things from the operator on duty.
As per plan, sources said, a team of Tata Teel UISL, before starting water supply, would first examine quality of various machines and devices right from Bistupur plant house to the filter plant house. After examination, a detailed project report (DPR) would be sent to the state government. PHED officials said they would extend every possible help to Tata Steel UISL in implementing the plan. The department would help.
