Indore: BJP, in its manifesto called ‘Sankalp Patra’ for Indore urban body polls released on Friday, promised to develop multilevel and mechanized parking, Narmada tap waterline to every household along with creating and filling 5,000-10,000 new posts in the municipal corporation.
The manifesto reads five slogans of success i.e. self-reliance, security, cleanliness, education, and health. In the column of education, the BJP has promised to upgrade government schools as Smart School apart from providing free coaching facility to the talented students while in self-reliance column, the party has promised to provide youngsters opportunities to work upon their Startup ideas and relaxation in tax but its head and percentage of the rebate are not mentioned in the manifesto. Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia released the manifesto and said, “BJP has done many works of development in its previous tenure of four mayors while the party’s future plan is ready to take Indore to the new heights”.
The BJP, in its manifesto, also promises to develop open gym in public gardens, rationalization of TDR/FAR, sanctioning maps of small plots within 24 hours, starting Dindayal Rasoi Kendra to offer food at Rs 10/person and free the city from dog menace in time-bound manner.
The party’s manifesto promises developing new flyovers and elevated corridor along with foot over bridges equipped with escalator, tax rebate to social organizations, encouragement and financial assistance to local artists, free transportation to Mazdoor. TNN
