Circuit to vacate recent health advisories issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that lowered the levels at which certain PFAS chemicals are deemed safe in drinking water, arguing the agency’s action wasn’t rooted in sound science.
The American Chemistry Council challenged the EPA’s drinking water health advisories issued in June that significantly lowered the levels at which two per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, are considered safe in drinking water.
