TAYLORVILLE — The Shadow Home in Taylorville is in need of some supplies to help with cleaning and laundry.
Cleaning supplies needed include items such as toilet bowl cleaner, dusting wipes, disinfectant wipes, window cleaner, disinfectant cleaner in liquid and spray.
Laundry supplies needed include laundry detergent and dryer sheets.
You may also send monetary donations to PO Box 107, Taylorville, IL 62568. If you choose to bring donations to the home, you are asked to call 217- 824-2001 for more information.
The Shadow Home provides lodging, meals, clothing and laundry services to the home’s residents, who are homeless, abandoned, or abused women and their children.
The home gives them the opportunity to break the cycles of hopelessness and dependencies through spiritually-based teaching and care to help make permanent change in their lives.
