Scientists on an independent clean air panel expressed concern with the scope of scientific consideration in an EPA draft finding for status quo ozone standards during a two-day discussion.
Members of the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee met in North Carolina on Wednesday and Thursday to closely examine a draft policy assessment released by the Environmental Protection Agency in March. In line with the previous administration, EPA staffers in March recommended not making any changes to 2015 National Ambient Air Quality Standards for ozone, keeping the current levels of 70 parts per billion.
