Dear Editor,
One of the favorite things the climate cult likes to do is create links with issues that are not affected by CO2-to-CO2 regulations and climate change.
A few years ago, there was a meme going around on the internet that stated: “What if we’re wrong, we’d have clean water, clean air, healthier children, etc.” None of these things have anything to do with CO2. In fact, fossil fuels provide the energy to clean the water, manufacture medicines, run hospital equipment that helps us and our children.
Alex Epstein has a wonderful book called the Moral Case for Fossil Fuels. He has two more books that people should read also.
Other issues include plastic in the oceans or landfills; CO2 has nothing to do with those issues either. Most of the plastic ending up in the ocean is from Asia, where they dump it in the rivers, streams and oceans. Some of it comes from our recycling centers that send it to China to be recycled. Instead of recycling it, they dump it in rivers or send it to Indonesia where it is either burned or dumped in the ocean. People are upset by garbage, but they need to watch John Stossel — Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity 5 (garbage, life).
Many need to wake up in this country and realize activists aren’t always right. In many, if not all, cases, they are downright wrong.
