The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
Phoenix, AZ, May 15th, 2022 — The IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video today. Their newest production discusses arsenic and potential exposure risks in water from private wells.
“People can be exposed to arsenic from a number of sources, including from drinking water where it is tasteless and odorless,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. “EPA does not regulate private wells and the agency estimates that more than 13 million households in the United States rely on private wells for their drinking water (US Census American Housing Survey 2017). It can enter drinking water supplies from natural deposits in the earth or from agricultural and industrial practices. We hope this new video helps to spread awareness of the importance of testing private well water for arsenic and other potential contaminants.”
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public’s health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental, CTSI and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
