WASHINGTON — Two Clean Air Task Force (CATF) experts will testify this week at separate Senate hearings on the importance of advancing a full suite of carbon-free technologies to decarbonize the global economy.
On Wednesday, February 9th, at 10:00 am ET, CATF Executive Director Armond Cohen will provide testimony on the importance of nuclear energy as a carbon-free energy source at a Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Legislative Hearing to examine S. 2373, the American Nuclear Infrastructure Act of 2021, and S. 1290, the STRANDED Act of 2021. On Thursday, February 10th, at 10:00 am ET, Mike Fowler, Director, Advanced Energy Technology Research at CATF will provide testimony on the importance of hydrogen to global decarbonization efforts at a Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Full Committee Hearing on Clean Hydrogen.
