If you love a good homecoming story, the latest episode of HGTV’s Home Town delivers just that. In it, Erin Napier designs a country house in Laurel, Mississippi, for her childhood friend Rebekah Staples, who has moved back to the town to be closer to family.
“Rebekah and I have been friends since middle school show choir, and her sister-in-law @hopenstaples and I were the absolute best of friends since we were awkward 13-year-olds,” Napier wrote in an Instagram post before the episode aired. “Tonight, we help Bek find a house in the country close to her huge family since she’s come back home to Laurel after years of living in the state capital, Jackson.”
During the episode, Staples’s sister-in-law shares that Rebekah, who is currently single, has an eclectic design style that’s constantly evolving as she experiences new cultures through her travels. “It’s fun designing for a friend because you know what they like on a deeper level,” Napier explains in the episode.
To see the playful home with a feminine color palette and plenty of outdoor space, head to discovery+. Oh, and make sure to pay attention to the first few minutes of the episode, because there’s a new season six intro featuring the Napiers’ baby Mae and 4-year-old daughter Helen that you won’t want to miss!
