Hitachi Astemo Americas Expands Ignition Coil Line

May 12, 2022 by Staff Reporter

Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc. announced the expansion of its ignition coils lineup. The company says it now has 276 SKUs available that cover 260 million vehicles in operation (VIO). Keeping a focus on the customers’ needs, these original equipment (OE)-quality ignition coils will reduce time-consuming part searches and avoid returns, Hitachi Astemo says. Automotive professionals can find application coverage on Hitachi Astemo Aftermarket Ignition Coils at https://hitachi.mypartfinder.com/.

“As representatives of a trusted brand, our Hitachi Astemo team is dedicated to engine management systems – the parts that power the heart of your vehicle,” says Ryan Pelkey, North American marketing manager, Hitachi Astemo Americas, “When we decided to expand our coverage, we kept our focus on the categories where we have extensive OE experience.”

Hitachi Astemo says it produces millions of ignition coils each year featuring durability and long-lasting reliability. Other features include:

•Designed to perform consistently in extreme temperatures and humidity
•Deliver consistent voltage output at various load and rpm levels
•Are subjected to extensive testing before packaging

“Consumers and shops associate quality with the Hitachi brand, and for good reason,” Pelkey says. “When our customers get one of our newer coils, they can be sure they are getting the same OE quality they have come to expect from Hitachi over the last 30 years. Our pledge to our customer is, ‘If it’s not OE quality, it won’t be in our box.’”
