Project Description
Stadium + see-sighting located on top of the city with an asymmetrical shape so as to allow spectators to simultaneously contemplate the match and the panoramic views of the city.
We have designed with 2 enclosure options: metallic or ETFE.
The public is distributed into 3 tiers with a total capacity of 45,000 seats, of which 15 are for authorities, 9,800 for VIP, 235 for sky boxes, 500 for Media and 34,450 for the general public.
Technical specifications and materials:
•Foundation: Concrete Bored Piles of conventional diameters for general areas and large diameters for special elements.
•Structure: Bolted Steel Structure combining standard rolled profiles for conventional elements and large diameter pipes for main items.
•Grandstands: Precast concrete stands combining “L” and “T” shaped sections. Alternatively, lightweight SPS (sandwich plate system) sections.
•Covering: Supported on the metallic structure, there are two material options: Metallic roof (bolted folded steel sheet) or Textile roof (tensed PVC membrane/mesh).
•Façade: Supported by the metallic sub-structure, there are two material options: Metallic façade (bolted folded steel sheet) or Textile façade (tensed/compressed fabric mesh).
•Facilities: Including: Electricity, Plumbing+Sewage, Irrigation + Drainage of the pitch, Lighting, PA system and electronic scoreboards.
•Seating: Standard PVC seating for the general public and folded with arms for VIP tribune and Authorities.
•Buildings: Built with modular construction system. Including: The Main building (Dressing rooms, VIP, Staff and Media areas) and All Auxiliary buildings (toilets, accesses, snack bars and medical centre).
Improvements:
•Retractable roof: Mobile trusses with EFTE or PVC membrane. With the aim of improving the bowl thermal comfort.
•Air cooling system: Below the bleachers, also with the aim of improving the bowl thermal comfort.
•Architectural lighting: Double skin of metallic lattice and PVC fabric mesh. Including inside a decorative mapping lighting by LED. In order to increase the singularity of the stadium.
•Sustainability: In order to improve the stadium value from an environmental point of view, measures are proposed such as: Design phase (climate, solar exposure, sun angles, prevailing winds, ecoregion, open and green space, site hydrology, floodplains, natural bodies of water, stormwater management, visual comfort, indoor air quality -natural ventilation system, thermal comfort, acoustic efficiency, Energy efficiency-PV solar system and use of raining water for consumption and irrigation of playfield).
