TSI Incorporated has expanded their AirAssure™ Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitor product line. The latest addition is the AirAssure™ 8144-2, which is a two-gas model made to help end-users manage common indoor air pollutants. The AirAssure™ 8144-2 uses low-cost sensor technology to continuously monitor carbon dioxide (CO2), total volatile organic compounds (tVOC), particulate matter (PM), and other indoor air parameters.
The new instrument also connects to the same TSI Link™ Solutions cloud-based monitoring platform as TSI’s four and six-gas models. This enables operators to deploy any combination of the three different AirAssure™ monitors around their building for a higher level of spatial resolution.
Every indoor space differs so the AirAssure™ caters for many kinds of buildings: from schools, hospitality, and offices, to manufacturing facilities. The compact and lightweight monitor can easily be set up, installed, and start to collect data in less than ten minutes; it was created to help optimise indoor air quality ventilation requirements, and help to achieve safe and productive spaces.
Understanding what is in the air you breathe has never been more important as our pollution levels grow and the global pandemic has raised further concerns about indoor air quality. As we start to return to normal life indoors, it has never been so crucial for people to feel safe and comfortable with the air quality inside the buildings they occupy.
