Porter-Blair Cleaning & Co. recently cut the ribbon on its new office in the Medical Arts Building at 500 Pine St., Jamestown.
Owner Lindsey Smith is a Jamestown native who recently returned home to launch her business.
“The past two years have been challenging for so many including Porter-Blair Cleaning & Co.,” Smith said. “I’m happy to be moving forward and serving this community. Not only are we providing valuable cleaning solutions to homeowners and commercial spaces we are also creating new employment opportunities. We look forward to growing in the Chautauqua County region.”
Porter-Blair Cleaning & Co. offers commercial and residential cleaning including disinfecting all high-touch surfaces, trash removal, floor cleaning, kitchens, bathrooms and more. Joining Smith and her family for the grand opening were Mayor Eddie Sundquist, state Assemblyman Andrew Goodell, and representatives for County Executive PJ Wendel and state Sen. George Borrello, along with the staff of the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce.
Sundquist congratulated Smith and noted, “It is exciting to see business growth in the city.”
“It demonstrates true initiative when small business owners make an investment in the community,” Goodell added. “We salute your entrepreneurship.”
