A water quality advisory which had been in place for users of the Prince Rupert water system has now been lifted.
Initially issued on February 10th, the advisory had been put in place due to elevated turbidity levels brought on by heavy rainfall.
Water users who continue to notice a milky quality or sediment in their water are advised to run cold water through their taps until the water runs clear.
Residents are advised not to do this for appliances, such as laundry machines, dishwashers, and fridges.
Long term improvements to the water system are expected this spring, when the City will bring their new dam online.
That will allow them to return to their primary water source at Woodworth Lake.
