ZAGREB, 21 August, 2022 – Istria County head Boris Miletić decided on Saturday to ease a restriction on the use of drinking water in the county, thanks to a better hydrological situation.
Drinking water from the public supply system can now be used again to water sports grounds, wash cars, vessels, trucks, and public transport vehicles, and at beach showers, a press release said.
A ban remains on using drinking water to water public and private green spaces and to wash streets, squares, and public spaces, except farmers’ and fish markets.
A decision to restrict the use of drinking water in Istria County was adopted on 18 July.
