The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
Phoenix, AZ, July 24th, 2022 — The IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video today. Their newest production shares information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about the multidrug-resistant microorganism known as Candida auris.
“CDC describes Candida auris as an emerging global health threat,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. “The yeast was first identified in 2009 in Asia and has quickly become a cause of severe infections around the world. It can spread in healthcare settings through contact with contaminated environmental surfaces or equipment, or from person to person. We hope this new video helps to shed some light on the need for effective infection control programs to protect patients and the public from this threat.”
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public’s health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental, CTSI and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
