The Southern Tier Heart Walk is back in stride, raising thousands of dollars for its in-person walk since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Heart Association Regional Communications Director, Kristy Smorol says it was nice to see hundreds of participants turn out in more winter than spring-like weather April 10 at Otsiningo Park while WNBF’s own Roger continued his tradition supporting the Heart Association and manning the microphone.
So far, it’s estimated the walk raised $250,000 but donations are still being accepted through June online at southerntierheartwalk.org.
