Triplett Test Equipment recently announced the Triplett Model EPC600 Environmental Particle Counter, a compact and portal tool ideal for indoor air quality testing in semi-conductor, pharmaceutical, data center, optics, aerospace, cleanroom, operating rooms, and other sensitive applications.
The EPC600 can simultaneously measure six channels of particle sizes down to 0.3 microns of methane, propane, butane, ammonia, carbon monoxide, and others. Additionally, it can measure air temperature, humidity, dew point, and wet bulb. The particle counter features a 2.8-inch color thin-film-transistor display, a built-in camera (320 x 240) capturing both JPEG images and 3GP video, and can store up to 5000 records with date/time, counts, temperature, humidity, sample volume, alarms, and location label. Records are stored in internal memory or on an optional microSD card that needs to be bought separately.
Features include user-selectable sample time, count data, and programmable delay, min/max/avg/diff recording, with readout in five languages — English, French, German, Spanish, and Chinese. The EPC600 comes equipped with a USB interface for PC connection and included in the package is a 7.4V NiMH rechargeable battery, universal AC adapter, zero filter, tripod, and USB cable.
