In the rules it states lounges cannot allow smoking of cannabis flowers outdoors; however, smoking is allowed inside a building, meeting county requirements. “Until these designated areas are set up under state law, it’s still going to be illegal to consume marijuana, to smoke marijuana in public,” Day said. One of the things the city council plans to discuss on April 4, is an amendment to the clean indoor air act. The act makes it unlawful to smoke in certain public places.
